The most common way is to start as an assistant to a stylist to learn and gain experience. You should do tests shoots to build your portfolio, and eventually you will start to get smaller paid jobs. Eventually, you earn enough to break out on your own!

It’s very similar, yet different. For red carpet dresses and publicity photos that will have a worldwide audience, there’s obviously more pressure to get it perfect the first time. But I treat all my clients with the same care and attention to details. They’re all celebrities to me.
